Portable paper bags are mostly made of high-quality, high-grade paper, kraft paper, etc. They are simple, generous, and have good printability and exquisite printing patterns. They are often used as clothing paper bags, gift bags, food bags, wine bags, shopping bags Wait. During the use of the paper bag, cracks often occur at the bottom or the side sealing edge of the bag, which seriously affects the service life of the paper bag and the weight or quantity of the items it can hold, and results in a waste of resources.
The phenomenon of easy cracking in the edge sealing of the paper bag is mainly related to the poor bonding effect of the edge sealing. Most of the edge sealing of the paper bag is sealed with an adhesive. Poor, sensitive to temperature and humidity, poor adhesion on the surface of the paper bag, etc., the paper bag is prone to seal cracking during use. Therefore, by selecting suitable adhesives, improving the sealing process (such as injection of needles in the sealing edge), etc. to improve the bonding effect of the edge sealing of the paper bag, and strengthening the detection of its bonding strength, it is to reduce the cracking of the edge sealing of the paper bag. probability and an effective means to improve its load-bearing capacity.
Test Standards and Test Instruments
The reference product standard for the test samples in this test is QB/T 4379-2012 "Portable Paper Bags". In this standard, the evaluation index of the edge sealing effect is the sealing adhesion strength. The specific test process is based on GB/T 12914-2008 "Determination of Tensile Strength of Paper and Cardboard" in constant speed stretching method.
The testing equipment used in the test is LTS-05S intelligent electronic tensile testing machine, which is independently developed and produced by Link Testing Instruments Co.,Ltd. LTS-05S intelligent electronic tensile testing machine is suitable for stretching and peeling of plastic films, composite materials, adhesives, adhesive tapes, medical patches, protective films, release papers, composite covers, metal foils, backing materials and other products , deformation, tearing, heat sealing, puncture force, opening force, low speed unwinding force, pulling force and other performance tests.
Test principle: The bond strength test is the force value required to peel off a certain width of the edge. The equipment is equipped with upper and lower clamps, the upper clamp can move up and down, it is a moving clamp, and is equipped with a force sensor, and the lower clamp remains stationary. During the test, the two free ends of the sample are clamped in the upper and lower clamps, respectively, and then peeling failure or tensile failure occurs with the separation of the two clamps. The force sensor records the time of the failure of the sample in real time during the test process. The resulting force value, thereby obtaining the bond strength of the sample. In addition, the equipment is also equipped with a displacement sensor, which can be used to monitor the displacement change of the sample in real time during the test to obtain indicators such as deformation rate and elongation rate.
Test samples and test procedures
Test sample: The test sample is a paper bag used to hold boxed liquor produced by a certain enterprise, and the adhesive strength of its side sealing edge is tested.
Experimental procedure:
(1) Cut 5 samples with a width of 15 ± 0.1 mm from the side sealing edge of the handbag sample, and the length should be at least 300 mm, and make the bonding of the side sealing edge in the middle of the sample.
(2) Turn on the test equipment, set the test speed to 50 mm/min, the sample width to 15 mm, and the number of samples to 5 and other parameters.
(3) Adjust the initial distance of the fixture to 250 mm, take one of the specimens, and clamp both ends of the specimen in the upper and lower fixtures of the equipment, so that the long axis direction of the specimen is parallel to the center line of the two fixtures .
(4) Click the test option, the test starts, the upper fixture moves up at the set speed, the device displays the force value curve generated during the test in real time, and automatically calculates and displays the bonding strength of the tested sample after the sample is finished. Test Results.
(5) Repeat operations (3) and (4) until all five samples have been tested.
Test Results and Analysis
The adhesive strengths of the 5 side edge samples tested in this test are 34.152 N/15mm, 35.041N/15mm, 36.514 N/15mm, 36.091N/15mm, 37.026 N/15mm, and the final test results are taken 5 times The average value of the test results is 35.765 N/15mm.
The adhesive strength of the edge of the paper bag is an important factor that determines whether it is prone to cracking during use.
