How to solve the problem of damage to the plastic woven bag body

Plastic woven bags mainly include polypropylene bags and polyethylene bags. The main production process is to use plastic raw materials to extrude film, cut, and unidirectionally stretch into flat yarns, and then weave the warp and weft into products. Currently it is widely used in the packaging of food, daily necessities, fertilizers, chemical products, etc.

The flexibility of plastic woven bags can be determined by testing the tensile strength (tensile strength) of the bag body to verify whether the plastic woven bags meet the packaging requirements of the product. If the tensile strength of the plastic woven bag body is low, that means, the flexibility of the bag body is poor, the bag body is prone to breakage and leakage problems during storage and circulation, which not only causes the leakage of the packaging contents, but also reduces the The service life of plastic woven bags is very important, so manufacturers should strengthen the testing of the tensile strength of plastic woven bags.

Test methods and instruments

Regarding the testing standards for plastic woven bags, please refer to GB/T 1040.3-2006 "Determination of Tensile Properties of Plastics Part 3: Test Conditions for Films and Sheets".

The testing equipment used in the test is the LTS-05 aotumatic tensile testing machine independently developed and designed by Link Testing Instruments Co.,Ltd.

Testing principle: The sample is clamped between the two chucks of the fixture, and the two chucks move relative to each other. The force value during the test is collected through the force sensor located on the movable chuck and the displacement sensor built into the machine. Changes and displacement changes, thereby calculating the tensile, tear, deformation rate and other performance indicators of the sample.

Test samples and test process

Test sample: This test uses a plastic woven bag provided by a company as a sample.

Experimental procedure:

(1) Use a sample cutter to cut 5 samples each of 50 mm wide and 200 mm long along the horizontal and vertical directions of the plastic woven bag sample.

(2) Clamp both ends of the sample on the upper and lower chucks of the equipment respectively. The long axis direction of the sample should coincide with the center line connecting the upper and lower clamps.

(3) Set parameter information such as test speed, specimen width, etc.

(4) Click the test start option to start the test. The instrument automatically calculates and displays the final test results.

Test results and analysis

The average horizontal break force (i.e. tensile strength) of the plastic woven bag samples tested is 386.507 N/50mm; the average longitudinal tensile strength is 398.011 N/50mm.
